Returns & Refunds

At Moontime Apothecary, every blend is handcrafted in small batches with care. Because our products are herbal ingestibles, for health and safety reasons all sales are final unless your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective.

If you experience an issue, please email moontimeapothecary@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the product/packaging.

We’ll make it right when:

  • Damaged in transit – We’ll replace or refund once verified with photos.

  • Wrong item received – We’ll correct the order at no cost to you.

  • Defective item – We’ll replace or refund after review.

Please wait for our reply before sending anything back. Items returned without prior authorization can’t be accepted.

Not eligible for return/refund

  • Opened or used products (including teas, tinctures, powders, or other ingestibles)

  • Custom/personalized items (e.g., custom tinctures)

  • Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges

We don’t process direct exchanges. If approved, we’ll issue a refund or ship a replacement; you’re welcome to place a new order anytime.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Canada & USA orders include tracking. You’ll receive your tracking link by email once your order ships.

  • Once an order is handed to the carrier (Canada Post/UPS, etc.), delivery is outside of our control. Moontime Apothecary isn’t responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered parcels.

  • If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number for investigation. We’re happy to support you with details for your claim.

Duties & Taxes (USA/International)

  • USA: Duties/taxes are calculated at checkout—no surprise fees on delivery.

  • International: Any local duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility.

Refund timing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the credit. If you haven’t seen it after 15 business days from our approval, email us at moontimeapothecary@gmail.com.

EU customers (cooling-off rights)

If your order ships into the EU, you may have a 14-day right to cancel unused, unopened items for any reason. This does not apply to sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection once unsealed (e.g., ingestibles), custom items, or where statutory exemptions apply. Items must be returned unopened, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Please email us first for return instructions.
